Congratulations to the last All-Star Team of the 2012-2013 school year!

World Savvy Lifesavers

Congratulations to the 7th grade World Savvy Team the Lifesavers!

 They were awarded $400.00 from World Savvy to implement their Knowledge to Action Plan. 

They plan to work with various schools in the metro area to have a competition for classes to write letters to Minnesota State Senators. The letters will try to raise awareness about eco-friendly building and materials. They will have one year to implement their plan and document their progress in a blog.  

Minnesota State History Day

Recently six Advanced History students from Prior Lake-Savage Middle Schools participated in the Minnesota State History Day Competition at the University of Minnesota. The theme of the competition this year was "Turning Points in History: People, Ideas, Events."

We Need a New Cover Photo

In honor of being named a Green Ribbon Schools District, we’re hoping you can help us select a new cover photo! Send us a photo that best exemplifies what E-STEM means to you. The top three photos selected by our administrative team will be put up for a vote on Facebook and the photo with the most votes will become our cover photo!

E-STEM stands for “Environmental Education – Science Technology Engineering Math.”

Photo requirements:

·         High-resolution images (200 dpi or greater)

·         Landscape/horizontal images (815x315 pixels is the size of the cover photo area)

·         Must be an original photo

·         Photographer does not have to live within district boundaries

·         Students are eligible to submit photos

Instructions:

·         Email photos to Ashley Franks, afranks@priorlake-savage.k12.mn.us by Friday, May 24.

·         Please include the photographer’s name, email address and/or phone number, along with a title of the photo (if applicable) and where the photo was taken.
