representative to ask if an alternative method of communication could be considered
by the company. We await their decision.

band teacher will schedule a general Q. and A. session for parents before Back
to School Night starts and midway through the evening so that all frequently
asked questions can be answered at one time, lessening the wait time to greet
him personally.
Since
the vast majority of parents surveyed a few years back were not happy when we
ran a mock schedule, we will continue to offer less structure on Back to School
Night.
In
addition, we have to continue to accommodate all three grades on one night and
on the same date as TOMS since we only have four hours available for teachers
to work and many students cross the street between the two buildings.
98% of those responding indicated that they would prefer
getting “back to school information” via e-mail. Therefore, next summer we will
send information electronically followed by an automated phone call alert to
all families.
